October 3, 2013, the Washington State College of Veterinary Medicine therio club was host to Cheryl Lopate, MS, DVM, DACT for a lunch lecture and discussion event. Dr. Lopate discussed many interesting cases from private
practice. Case topics ranged from small animal, uterine anomalies to large

the presentation and lunch was provided for the students. The lunch was hosted
by WSU-CVM SFT-student chapter for members and staff.
Later that same day Dr. Lopate was the speaker at a dinner lecture and discussion event.Dr. Lopate’s discussion was focused on many topics: benefits
of board certification, process of certification,
Theriogenology as a career,
ethical decisions that are often prompted by clients and closed with a case
discussion. Students asked many questions and were interested in her topics and
enjoyed the case discussion. WSU-CVM SFT student chapter and WSU-VBMA
